Dr. Demetrius Washington – They Told Me I Couldn’t Do It

Dr. Demetrius Washington is really one of the VERY few black people in his field.  He is a Veterinarian specializing in ophthalmology.  Growing up, he never had it easy and had to overcome some real challenges.  When people told him that he couldn’t achieve his dream, he didn’t let that stop him.  He knew what he wanted, and went after it with all of his heart!
